Golden Triangle Trophy Hunts will be offering 1:1 guided trophy hunts on El Yugo Ranch. With the entire ranch being 22,000 acres, it is representing South Texas as its very best. Owned by Arturo Benavides and family, approximately 10,000 acres of this ranch that has not been commercially hunted in close to 20 years and is now set aside for our exclusive package hunts. The ranch is currently under one of the most intense management programs in South Texas and is loaded up with mature bucks scoring from the 130’s to the 170’s B&C.

Wildlife History and Management:
The Yugo Ranch has not been commercially hunted for close to 20 years. 4years ago we began feeding free-choice protein pellets, and have also done selective "rollo chopping" and burning. All of this is done to increase the nutrients that are available to the deer. Doing so will assure that we are obtaining maximum antler growth from the genetics currently available.

Doe are being harvested to assure a managable number of deer and to keep the buck to doe as close as possible to a 1:1 ratio. All spike bucks are shot on sight, no exceptions. All bottom end bucks in any age class are harvest, keeping only the very best genetics of each age class. We have "let live" fully mature bucks scoring in the high 160's and 170's to assure that gene pool.
 
Wildlife that we are offering:
Whitetail Deer, hogs, javilinas, bobcats, coyotes, quail, dove, and access to stock tanks for fishing.
Hunters are on their own with most of the hunting on the ranch except for the Buck hunts.  All buck hunters will be fully guided.
